A client walked into Barrister Akpos' law chamber to make enquiries first. So, he sat down on the cushion and began to discuss with Akpos thus:
CLIENT: My learned Barrister, please how much will I be charged for you to answer each of my queries?
BARRISTER AKPOS: A hundred and fifty thousand Naira only !
CLIENT: Wow ! It's too much ooo. Please won't you accept 20 percent of that amount?
BARRISTER AKPOS: I can't. That's the professional fee !
CLIENT: Okay. I understand. But can I pay installmentally?
BARRISTER AKPOS: Never. You must pay at the spot. And so far now, I've answered 3 questions from you. Before I answer the fourth one, you must pay me my N450,000 right now or you'll put under arrest for negligence of the law.
At once, the helpless client fainted on the cushion. Lol ... !!!
