A teacher was lecturing his students on Insurance mathematics. Then he said thus:
TEACHER: Any odd situation indicates a risk. The same also applied to odd numbers too.
STUDENTS: (Chorus in one voice) Yes sir !!!
TEACHER: Okay. Assuming I have an odd risky number "ELEVEN" with me, can someone tell me what should be done to it so that it will be a risk-free even number.
OCHUKO: (Stands up and says) I know it sir. Simply subtract '1' from '11' so that you will have an even number '10'.
TEACHER: Very good Ochuko ! Meet me after this class and collect a gift from me. Any other attempt from somebody else?
AKPOS: (Stands up and says) Yes sir ! My own style is the alphabetic method. Simply delete "EL" from "ELEVEN" and you will have "EVEN".
TEACHER: Ha ha ha ! Brilliant answer too !! Meet me after the class and collect your gift too Akpos ...
