Mama Akpos was travelling inside a luxurious bus which was heading to Lagos. She was visiting a health centre for her periodic medical check-up regarding her cancer-related ailment. So she told the driver that he should stop for her just for 2 seconds once they reached Benin so that she can do something very important there. And the driver agreed. Unfortunately for her, the driver drove past Benin and the vehicle was almost inside Lagos when Mama Akpos suddenly woke up from sleep and asked the driver; "Are we in Benin yet?". Then, the driver realised his mistake and said to her; "Ma, we have passed it some moments ago. If what you want to do is not so important, please leave it for another day. Please bear with me. I'm deeply sorry !!!" But the old woman insisted that she must be taken back to Benin and all the passengers supported her too because she had told the driver on time. So, the bus went back to Benin. Reaching there, the driver asked Mama Akpos to do whatever she wanted to do so that they'll leave quickly. At once, the old woman brought out some drugs from her bag, swallowed them with water and said to the driver; "Akpos my son instructed me to take my drugs once we reach Benin. I've just obeyed his instruction now so, shall we continue our memorable journey?" At once, the driver and the entire passengers laughed and laughed and laughed at her ignorance till they all fainted inside the bus. If now for the efforts of the nearby policemen at the checkpoint who poured cold water on the faces one after another, they wouldn't have woke up to complete the journey that very day. Ha ha ha !!!
