The moment Abel realised that he was going broke and bankrupt, he faked to be a deaf and dumb boy, went to the roadside and begged for alms everyday. People and pedestrians always pitied him and filled his cup and pockets everyday they see him. One certain day, a policeman and a Lawyer who wanted to test whether Abel was truely deaf and dumb approached him pitifully by the roadside where he was begging and pretended as if they wanted to give him a bank cheque. The lawyer brought out a pen and a bank cheque and asked Abel thus;
"Please my son, what is your name?".
Out of excitement, Abel who forgot that he was faking being deaf and dumb jumped up and happily responded him thus;
"Sir my name is ....."
Before he could even finish his speech, 2 flashy slaps brushed out twinkling stars from his eyes. The next moment he got back to himself, he only realised that he has been handcuffed, arrested and taken to the police station for further retribution.
LESSON: Learn how to endure difficult moments through hardwork and prayer otherwise, you might be thrown into further untold predicaments.
