After some months of joblessness, a rich man employed Abel to work for him as his night watchman and warned him to be very competent otherwise, he will be sacked. Abel accepted the job and started work immediately but in a treachery manner. During the day time, he will be awake but during the night when everybody must have slept, he will sleep too and wake up very early should his master leave on time the next day. It continued like this until one day, he slept as usual and dreamt where his master was attacked on a morning by some strange guys. In the morning, the master wanted to leave early but Abel out of pity pleaded with him thus;
"Please sir do not go out today. I saw some strange guys in my dream tonight attacking you".
At once, the infuriated master yelled back at him;
"So you have been sleeping and dreaming all these nights? Lazy and ungrateful guy ! You are sacked. Let me not see you here when I get back from work."
That was how the funny Abel lost his job.
LESSON: Do the right thing at the right time. Also, let us always mind how we talk to avoid implicating ourselves.
