This is a recent true life story but I will present it to you with fictitious names and locations. On a Monday morning, Abel woke up and called a lady working in a bank which he patronizes and said to her thus;
"Hello Madam, I'll be withdrawing the sum of N10 million from my account today. Please get it ready for me".
The lady at once met with the Bank Manager and they arranged the money for Abel who came later in the noon with his bodyguards, collected the money and went off. He just drove a stone-throw from the bank when a group of guys cornered him, gave him a beating of his life and carted away with the money. At this point, the stranded Abel thought and fast as he could and remembered that it was only the lady at the bank that he told earlier about withdrawing the money. So he ran as fast as he could into the bank and yelled straight into the lady's face to the hearing of the crowd;
"Holy thi-ef ! Give me my money back or I'll report you to the police now !!".
Suprised and amazed, the young beautiful and innocent-looking lady replied;
"Please sir, I do not know what you are talking about. Do not intimidate me or I'll get you arrested in a minute or two".
Finally, the attention of the Bank manager was attracted. He stormed into the scene but was surrounded by confusion too. A few seconds later, the lady's phone rang and the Bank manager insisted on picking the phone on her behalf to ensure her safety. He did so, turned the loudspeaker mode on and kept silent as they all listened. The voice coming out of the phone said this;
"Hello Madam, mission accomplished ! Meet us in our apartment let's share the cake right away".
At once, the phone went off and immediately, the Bank manager furiously ordered the policemen present to arrest the lady. They tortured her and wounded her untill finally, she took them to the hide-out of the guys where they were all arrested for further interrogation. That was the last time people ever saw the lady and her partners in crime. Thus, Abel recovered his money back and rewarded all who helped him in a big style. He took a sigh of relief after that scary day but it remained an event that he swore to never ever forget in his life !
LESSON: A wise man shrouds certain delicate issues in secrecy. Trust can be misleading at times. The wages of ill deeds is extremely heavy. There is nothing hidden under the face of the sun. The creator rewards men according to their deeds.
