All his life, Akpors have longed to be a pharmacist. Luckily for him too, he wrote his examinations, passed them in flying colours and got himself instantly admitted into the university to study pharmacy. So it happened that one day, the chemistry lecturer came into the class to teach his students. At a point, he asked Akpors thus:
CHEMISTRY LECTURER: Akpors, what is the chemical symbol used to depict the element 'Barium'?
AKPORS: It's 'BA' Sir !
CHEMISTRY LECTURER: Good ! What of Sodium?
AKPORS: It's 'NA' Sir !
CHEMISTRY LECTURER: Great ! Now listen well again. If an atom of Barium is combined with 2 atoms of Sodium, what do we have?
AKPORS: (Thinks for a while, scratches his head and speaks out in confidence) It's BANANA sir !
CHEMISTRY LECTURER: Your head there !
