After burning his night candles to write and pass his ICAN examinations with his hard-earned money, Abel finally got inducted as an associate member into the Institute of Chattered Accountants of Naija. Then he applied for a job in an Insurance company owned by one Mr. Akpos who invited him for a job interview that went thus:
INTERVIEWER AKPOS: (Smiles) I can understand it that you are trying to earn the prestigious position of the Senior Accountant in the Finance and Accounts department of my magnificent company.
ABEL: Yes sir !
INTERVIEWER AKPOS: So what are your qualifications ?
ABEL: Ultimately sir, I'm a Chattered Accountant under the ICAN !!!
INTERVIEWER AKPOS: (Shouts back at Abel in anger) 'Shattered' Accountant ? So you want to disorganise the entire records of this noble company just as you have done to yourself ? Infact leave my office before the count of two. I don't need 'Shattered' Accountants like you. Rather I need focused, brilliant and serious-minded Accountants. Right ?
ABEL: G-odd punish you there !!! Don't you know what I passed through to get that qualification ?
Ha ha ha !!!
