As a result of his outstanding ethical behaviours, enviable brilliance and other excellent qualities as a student, his Secondary school principal appointed him as the senior prefect of the school. After six months, the principal invited Akpos to his office and said to him;
"Great job so far boy ! People are congratulating you and talking about you good works all over the place. Keep it up ! Infact, I dream that one day you will surely be a very good RULER".
Hearing this, Akpos sparked back at the principal saying;
"What ! You just called me a RULER now !! I also dream that you'll be a PENCIL in the future, your papa - a Chalk and your mama - an eraser. Mt-chew !!!"
