It was very late in the night and Akpos was not yet home since he left for work in the morning. So his wife called him on phone and their discussion went like this:
WIFE: (Shouts at him) This man, where are you by this time of the night?
AKPOS: Abeg calm down dear. Can you remember that Jewellery vendor in whose shop you saw a 100 karat pure gold necklace as well as a diamond hair which I promised to buy for you later?
WIFE: (Wears a pleasing smile and replies in a soft tone) Yes dear. Are you at the shop to buy them now?
AKPOS: (Laughs) Somehow dear. I'm drinking and vomiting in a bar opposite the shop. Goodnight. See you tomorrow !!!
