Abel a Yoruba guy and Akpos an Igbo boy were on a secret mission into a forbidden forest in a certain primitive village. They were both searching for a lost treasure. But unluckily for them, the villagers caught them and took them to their king to receive punishments entering into their sacred forest. So the king after listening to their pleas allowed them to make two wishes each before the punishment begins. They were to be flogged so, they cannot make an wish exempting them from the flogging. Then Abel said;
"My First wish is that you should tie a very very big pack of wool and foams to my back and my second wish is that you should flog of only 15 strokes of the cane".
Immediately, the king accepted the wish, tied up his backs with a huge roll of wool and foam and flogged him only 15 strokes. When it reached Akpos turn, he said;
"Oh my worthy King, I know too well that I am guilty of this offence so treat me like a guilty man. I will want the most muscular and big chested gaint man in this village to flog me a million strokes with the most flexible and strong whips you have got here. This is my first wish. But here is my second wish. Before you ever start flogging me, tie up this useless Yoruba guy 'Abel' at my back and begin to give out the one million lashes. He was the person who led me into this offence !!!".
Without wasting much time, the stunned yoruba guy was tied up to Akpos back and a million lashes of the whip which Akpos had ordered rained all over his body. After some days, the flogging exercise was completed and the duo were dismissed and told to "SIN NO MORE".
Lol, if you think you are wise, there is always someone wiser than you at any particular moment !!!
