The church wedding of "Dr. Akpos" was coming up the next day and it was night already. So, Akpos was relaxing with his wife-to-be on that fateful night and the following discussions ensued:
WIFE: (Says angrily in disappointment) Akpos my dear husband, you don't have a dime both in your account and your pockets yet, you boast of being a Doctor.
AKPOS: (Smiles at her) You should have inquired on time darling. I'm only a native doctor. At least, I can TREAT you right.
WIFE: (Yells out) What the hell do you mean ??? There is not even a grain of rice with which to entertain our guests tomorrow. You are a poor man Akpos ! You have nothing in this world !!
AKPOS: (Laughs out loud and says to her) But honey, I always told you earlier that you are EVERYTHING I have in this life.
At once, a serious fight broke out. Lol !
LESSON: Deception always appears real to the materialistic and over-excited minds. Also, wise men have many ways of defending themselves.
